Introducing a New Product: FH Door
With the rapid development of SEG (Silicone Edge Fabric) frames, we were not exactly surprised to get requests for “fabric” doors. We listened! We took this concept and turned it into an actual product – AGAM’s newest product, the FH Door.
This all started with requests pouring in from customers. I began to think about the concept, how it would work, how we would create it, and I knew it was possible!
I thought it was best to fabricate a demo door first, just a 2′ x 2′ door to see what needed to be tweaked before finalizing a full size door. I went to the plant, discussed the details with Doug, our Production Manager, and from just a thought, I had a demo door in my hands in less than eight hours!
Even with some years of experience at AGAM, this is something I am always amazed with! We can turn around some of the most complicated projects in the blink of an eye.
This FH door with double-sided SEG is now available as a special order and works quite well if used in conjunction with a FH1490 design.
Last week, one of our customers ordered a full size door. I was ready for the challenge, fabrication went like a breeze, and the door was sent the next day.
